I order new mirror glass for your car, engrave it and swap it in. Your original glass comes back to you, so you can always switch back. Design price plus the glass at cost, usually $20–50 for common cars.

Send a picture of the car, mirror or glass and what you want on it to (978) 886-4905.
Get a mockup and price
I send back the design, the size, where it goes and the exact price.
Approve and book
Say yes in writing (a text is fine). Custom work and sets start with a 50% deposit.
Pick it up or I come to you
Glassware is usually ready in 3–5 days. Car work happens at a time that suits you.
Good to Know
- Minimum order
- $20. One glass with the glass included meets it.
- Nothing gets engraved without your OK
- You approve the design, size and placement before I start. Engraving is permanent.
- Deposits
- 50% up front on custom pieces, sets and anything with a name on it. The rest is due at pickup.
- Bringing your own glass
- I check it before I start. Thin, old or chipped glass can crack, and I can’t replace glass you bring.
- Car windows
- Side and rear windows are tempered safety glass. I keep designs small and shallow, and you sign a short OK before car work.
- Prices
- “From” prices are for small, simple designs. Your exact price is confirmed before any work begins.
Questions
Will a design on my car pass inspection?
I never engrave windshields, and I keep designs small and in corners, out of your line of sight. Your inspection station makes the final call, so check with them if you’re unsure.
Can engraving be removed?
No. It’s cut into the glass for good, which is why you approve every design first. If you want a way back, ask about fresh mirror glass: I engrave a new mirror and you keep the original.
My windows are tinted. Is that a problem?
No. Tint film sits on the inside of the glass, and I engrave the outside.
Will it survive car washes, salt and ice scrapers?
Yes. The design is part of the glass, so soap, brushes, road salt and scrapers won’t take it off.
Can engraved glasses go in the dishwasher?
The engraving won’t wash off. Hand washing keeps the glass itself clear and shiny for longer.
Does VIN etching lower my insurance?
Some insurers give a small discount and many don’t. Call yours before counting on it. The main benefit is that etched glass is harder for thieves to resell.
How long does a car job take?
Most small designs take under an hour in your driveway. Bigger pieces take longer, and I’ll tell you the time when I send your quote.
Can you engrave something that’s not on this list?
Usually, yes. If it’s glass or a mirror, text me a photo of it and what you want on it, and I’ll send a mockup and a price.
Do you ship?
Not yet. Pick up in Derry, or I come to you around Derry, Londonderry, Windham and Salem.
